Hello,

Is there a way to remove Gantt from the view? Either by access or code.

Due to audit requirments users should not be able to edit Task names. I was able to add the name to the secure page. Users can not edit on the Task list but due to a bug the access rights does not reflect on the Gantt and it is editable on the Gantt by inline editing.

Any option to either hide the Gantt or make name not editable on the Gantt?

How about just turning off grid edit for the task name in the gantt?

To hide the gantt link as an on-demand customer the only option is to use CSS in a custom theme.

Just add the below to the bottom of a theme. Note some otb portlets have gantt as a selectable link, you'll need to review your functional setup

With the CSS option is to possible to Hide the configure option from the Timesheet too? The Charge code is editable there so if someone has updated the charge code and time is posted it changes the charge code on the Task which will also fail the audit.

Yes it is possible to hide that too, then you can't set the populate options.

Remember to check other places where Gantt can be launched as well. So far I am aware of 3 places: Tasks tab -> Gantt; Project Open in Schedule -> PPM Gantt; from project list view and My Projects list -> the Gantt icon
