  • 1.  TDSChannel SSL handshake failed

    hi folks,

     

    since migration to r14.1.03 we see the following error in stdlog:

     

    pdm_proctor_nxd2936 SIGNIFICANT STDIO 0 WARNING: TDSChannel ( ConnectionID:39422 TransactionID:0x0000000000000000) SSL handshake failed: SQL Server hat eine unvollständige Antwort zurückgegeben. Die Verbindung wurde geschlossen.

    (something like "SQL Server delivers incomplete answer. Connection closed")

     

    Google/Microsoft/CA says, we should replace sqljdbc.jar & sqljdbc_auth.dll to provide JDBC Version 2.0, but this changes nothing. We also not aware which part of application this error generates.

     

    Does anybody knows something about it?

    Lets see if this is somehow because of the Event Based Loader component, which is new in 14.1.03. 

     

    1) SDM Primary server: NX_ROOT/pdmconf/pdm_startup and pdm_startup.tpl ? there's a section where it has

    ; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    [ procset PDMBOP ]
    ; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ..
    ..
    pdm_es_search_nxd

    2) You can delete the line above : pdm_es_search_nxd OR put a ; in front which disables it.

    NOTE: If you are using AA, you would have to adjust appropriate procset for AA.

    3) Restart SDM

    The Error is not shown anymore, since commenting out elastic search engine.

    That's good to hear Marc.

     

    Can you reach out to me offline/private-message? I'd like to understand couple of things around your database configuration, for us to diagnose this the right way. This way we'd be ready with the correct solution should/when you decide to use xFlow?  Thank you!
