Our current installation is as follows:

Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Enterprise (64-bit) SP2
Report Server: CA Business Intelligence 3.3 SP1 (BOXI 3.1 SP 6)
We would like to upgrade to the following:
Application: CA PPM v.15.1
OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Std/Datacenter 64-bit
JRE: Oracle Java SE JDK 8 update 91 (64-bit)
App Server: Apache Tomcat 8.0.33
Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Enterprise (64-bit)
Report Server: CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.2.1
In summary, the following will be involved in the upgrade:
1) Upgrade of Server OS from Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 64-bit SP1 to Windows Server 2012 R2 Std 64-bit
2) Upgrade of Database Server from Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Enterprise (64-bit) SP2 to Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Enterprise (64-bit)
3) Upgrade of Java Runtime from jdk1.7.0_25 to Oracle Java SE JDK 8 update 91 (64-bit)
4) Upgrade of App Server from apache-tomcat-7.0.42 to Apache Tomcat 8.0.33
5) Install Patch 14 for CA PPM v13.3
6) Upgrade of Application from CA PPM v.13.3 to v15.1
7) Uninstall CA Business Intelligence 3.3 SP1 (BOXI 3.1 SP 6)
8) Install CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.2.1
All our servers are in VM. Can anyone advise on the order of activities to be performed? Is there anything that I missed out?
