  • 1.  Integration of  UIM with NFA console via https

    Hi 

     

    Assuming we have NFA console, ADA console and UMP with https, can we integrate UIM with NFA console via https?

     

    Also, can we integrate UMP with ADA Console with https?

    There is no integration from console to UMP but there is a probe for each.

    ada_inventory (ADA Inventory) - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    The ADA Inventory (ada_inventory) probe gets the current servers from each configured instance of CA Application Delivery Analysis (CA ADA) and sends the server information to CA Unified Infrastructure Management for inclusion in the UDM database.

     

    nfa_inventory (NFA Inventory) - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    The NFA Inventory (nfa_inventory) probe:

    • Publishes NFA inventory to UIM
    • Pulls SNMP profiles from UIM and pushes them down to NFA
    • Provides information required by USM to display charts and drill in to NFA in context
    • Registers UMP/USM as the Portal for NFA

     

    Note that NFA & ADA can be tied to only one reporting front end application so it is either NPC, CAPC, or UIM and not the other two.
