We have posted timesheets for the month of November that require adjustments. The time periods are open, but as an administrator I am unable to return them for adjustment. Anyone have any idea of why this would happen?
Further investigation found
1. One of the projects on the timesheet had been turned off for time entry
2. Tasks that had time entered on them in each of the projects had been turned off for time entry
The 2 above items prevented the timesheet from being adjusted. Once the different items had been turn on for time entry adjustments were able to be done. After posting financials all items were reverted back to their state before the adjustments.
A system administrator does not necessarily have access rights on data (eg timesheet-approve/time-enter on the resources) - I would check those things first then.
