  • 1.  XML file for Portfolio Investment Object

    Hi all,

Portfolio Investments is a read-only object in CA PPM (correct me if I am wrong). I want to xog in certain field values in the portfolio investment object (multi-valued lookup fields). Can someone help me the XML file template for the same (read/ write XMLs)?

    regards,

    Uruj

Portfolio investment object is a sub object of portfolio and also you cannot create new attribute also under Portfolio Investment object, so if you need to update you need to do it in portfolio object.

Let me know if my understanding is incorrect about the requirement

    Nope.

How can I update fields then through XOG?

Which fields you are trying to update? also Portfolio doesn't hold any data the data is stored in investment, project and porfolio just rolls up so any underlying data you want to update needs to be done at project/investment level

    Hi Suman,

Sure, Thanks. The isue is that the current version has a defect to be fixed in 14.3 Its not populating values from Idea and Projects for multi-valued lookups.

What do you suggest in such a case. How can I address this?

    Uruj,

14.3 is already out long back, are you referring to a patch. And what bug number you are referring to? I can check and get back to you on that.
