what could i miss if i already installed the SRA, but cant install (choose) Spectrum from in the installation window?

Hi Stefan,

Have you previously installed the CA Spectrum 10.1 release?

The CA Spectrum 10.1.2 can only be installed on top of either 10.1 or 10.1.1 releases.

Silvio, i just tried to install Spectrum version 10.01.01.00 and i can see the same inactive link. i could install in both versions the sradmin.

do you have any other idea what the rootcause could be?

it's centos v7.

Why are trying to install 10.1.1 release now? Don't you want to install 10.1.2 release?

Did you check the content of the following files?

$SPECROOT/Install-Tools/.history file: (example from my machine)

10.1.0.0.237 04/05/2016 15:19
10.1.1.0.64 04/05/2016 16:11

$SPECROOT/Install-Tools/.install_history file (example from my machine)

10.1.0.0.237 04/05/2016 15:19 ,,SUCCESS
10.1.1.0.64 04/05/2016 16:11 ,,SUCCESS

i can install 10.1.2 as well, but i dont have Install-Tools/ folder at all. what i have after installing the sradmin is only $SPECROOT/SRAdmin in the $SPECROOT folder.

Hi Stefan,

If you don't have the $SPECROOT/Install-Tools/ folder, then you have not installed the CA Spectrum 10.1 yet.

First install 10.1 and then install 10.1.1 release.

If you have already installed 10.1 or 10.1.1 then make sure that the path to the 10.1.2 executable does not contain a folder name that has a space in it.
