Hey all,

We are currently in the process of upgrading our systems to 14.1 from r12.5.

To do this we have already experimented on a test server with this installation process. This was installed on Windows 2012 R2 previously we upgraded an outdated production DB and all went well.

Now we uninstalled the test installation are all attempting to do the actual production migration. When attempting to install r12.5 AGAIN to run the migration on the updated database we are getting errors.

-  During the CA SDM Configuration Step. The system is FAILING at Validate Extension Tables.

- Receive the following error:

The Validate Extensions Table then goes to a "RED X" and fails. The information in the logs state an encryption in the SQL was not possible. Failure to connect to the MDB database.

But I have never had that present with the error shown above before.

Any thoughts?
