    Hi,

Is it possible to send alarms as http post in CA UIM?

I can see post_message and repost options in NAS auto operator action types. Can some one help me to understand what is the exact use of this action types.

    Hi Gene,

Thanks for the document. Using RESTFul web services is it possible to send alarms to a third party tool via HTTP POST in XML format?

We are trying to integrate UIM with another tool which accept alarms in XML format via HTTP POST. Can you please suggest an option on this.

Hi the nas post and re-post option are for posting messages to the UIM message bus.

this can not be used to post alarm via HTTP post commands

We dot currently have any probe or tool that I can think of that could be used to send UIM alarms

to another system via and XML and http post.

We do have some service desk gateways probe that do this but not a generic one,

I would think you would need to build a custom probe to do this.

Sorry I could not be more help.

Maybe some one else has an Idea?
