We do not provide side-by-side comparisons that I'm aware of. Not only that, there are major differences in the software architecture which does not allow direct comparisons.
You should read the Release Notes for 9.6 and 10.5 (do not go to 10.1; if you must, go to 10.3 as there were significant defects that were addressed since 10.0).
