Just wanted to know if we have growth settings of files and log in DB in percent instead of MB, then is there any possibility that it might impact queues draining speed specially Data_Engine and NAS queues.
Thanks a lot for your response on this, so autogrowth settings does not have any direct impact on the speed of insertion of data in Database.
We will see other aspects of DB as you recommended.
what affects the queue draining is the transaction speed, meaning if the data_engine is able to write data to the database quicker it can drain the data_engine queue faster. I do not think that this setting on the database side has any effect on this mechanism. If you encounter slowness in the write operations you would need to look at other things such as index/table fragmentations and overall database performance.
