    Hi,

I am receiving the alarms "Device has stopped responding to polls alarms", I check the devices and the connection is working fine. What is the possible issue?

    Thanks for your support.

    Hi Ricky,

CA Spectrum asserts the "DEVICE HAS STOPPED RESPONDING TO POLLS" alarm when the device is not responding to PING.

Did you test the Ping from the SpectroSERVER machine?

Does this problem happen to a specific device?

What is the CA Spectrum version? Check the $SPECROOT/Install-Tools/.history file.

What is the Operating System? Windows? Linux? Solaris?

    Thanks,

    Silvio

    Hi Ricky ,

Please check is there any network drop from Spectrum server to your end device.

You can also try increasing the DCM timeout and retry values for this specific device to see if that helps . Could be a issue with SNMP poll timeout

    Hi,

The issue has been resolved. I increase the dcm timeout. Thanks for your support.
