  • 1.  upgrading apache version on sps 12.5 possible ?

According to the Bookshelf files of sps(https://support.ca.com/cadocs/0/CA%20SiteMinder%20Secure%20Proxy%20Server%2012%205-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/sps_rel_enu.p… ) we can see it supports httpd Apache 2.2.22 .But according to the requirement we need to upgrade the apache from 2.2. to 2.4.

Can anyone tell me if that is feasible and SPS will support this apache version and if so how can we upgrade it .

I agree upgrading apache from prepackaged SPS is not supported.

However, if you upgrade SPS to later release R12.52sp1, you will get pre-build apache version 2.4.4

    Under ~CA/secure-proxy/httpd/bin, run apachectl -V

    Server version: Apache/2.4.4 (Unix)
    Server built: Aug 12 2013 00:56:15
    Server's Module Magic Number: 20120211:11
    Server loaded: APR 1.4.8, APR-UTIL 1.5.2
    Compiled using: APR 1.4.8, APR-UTIL 1.5.2
    Architecture: 32-bit
