    Specifically the docops section has lots of good reference on APM architecture

    APM Architecture - CA Application Performance Management - 10.5 - CA Technologies Documentation 

    CA APM Overview Guide has a nice diagram in CA APM Product Architecture section

    Additionally, you might want to look into the training from CA Educational services and also do a youtube search for CA APM and there is typically a bunch of free videos that might help with your quest.
