  • 1.  UIM snap installation failing.

    Hello,

    UIM snap installation is failing during the embedded SQL installation. The pre-requisite check is passed but still it is failing.

    The error message is giving the message to reboot the system to solve the problem, but it does not work. Can anyone please help on this.

    I am attaching the log file for information.

    Hi,

     

    In the log there is this message - 

    "Rule evaluation message: A computer restart is required. You must restart this computer before installing SQL Server."

     

    Has the server been rebooted?

    Thanks Mark, i have tried the installation after reboot as well but it does not work.

    Can you please ensure that the anti-virus is disabled then restart the installation again?

    Hi Gaurav,

     

    I think you may be running into a MS SQL error. I see this near the bottom of the log file:

    "SQM Service: Sqm does not have active session."

     

    Check out these links for more info and how to correct it:
