I need support to configure jmeter and integrate with CA App Synthetic Monitor to test a web application (login transactions, homepage transaction, search transaction).

There is nothing really on the configuration side to do. Basically you start JMeter, enter the URL of your site and then record the website and any additional clicking on pages to create your script.
If the site you want to monitor is going to reside on your company's intranet, then you would need to install an OPMS as our public monitoring stations cannot reach beyond a proxy.
