Hi,

I am wondering if we can run a test case from Rally. I understand we can add test cases, add defects etc using Rally API but can we invoke a test case from Rally? Reason behind asking is because I want to automate the entire process of QA cycle  viz. Test case addition>>Test case execution>>Test case result report. 

Please show some light.

Hi Chandan,

Unfortunately, there isn't a way from Rally/CA Agile to execute or to kick off a test case to another product or automated process (either through API or GUI). We can use the API to change results, add build information and the like, but there is no way to start off the process externally.
