CA Service Management

  • 1.  HTTPS implementation

    Hello everyone,

We're planning an implementation of CA Service Management with the common features, but as a request I was told to enable HTTPS for SDM, SC and USS.

I was reading the documentation and the knowledge articles, and as a prerequisite the doc says that I need to have "Configured and assigned at least two web engines configured and assigned to a web director.", it means I need to have two servers with a load balancer (web director)? If we are planning to start with just one server can I enable HTTPS with just one web engine?

The article is the following:  How to Configure SSL Authentication - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

What othe consideration should I review before the implementation?

    Thanks!

    Hey Kevin,

Yes, if you are using just one webengine, it should be OK to implement HTTPS on that one.
