Hello Community,

we deploy ntperf probes on our ms cluster (two nodes). the NtPerf is running under the cluster probes and works fine (gather the relevant ntperf info). But, once their is a failover (resources move to the other node) the counters on the passive node are stuck on the last number they had and not 0 as it suppose to be on the passive node.

The counters on the new active node works fine.

Any ideas?

Are you seeing the probe being active on the passive node?

What exactly are you looking at to say it is reporting the last value can you provide a screen shot or something?

This may need to go to support to see if this is functioning as designed or not.

1. The Probe is active on both nodes but the profiles  (monitoring profiles in the probe).

exist only on the active node.

2. I'm looking at the values of the counters (matrics of the monitoring profiles that inserted into the database when you mark the QOS under miscellaneous tab ). 

3. It seem to be a probe design issue.

Hi Asi,

Can you please raise a case so that we can progress this within support. 

When opening the case, please include the probe cfg and as much information as possible of the set up of the cluster.
