CA Service Management

We have configured high availability and are using a load balancer to route traffic based on the virtual directory request by the client.  This is so we can use one A record and not have to have to create multiple A records as we are trying to grant external access to Service Desk Manager.  Any suggestions welcomed.

Hi Jon,  So there are couple of places where URLs are defined for Service Desk Manager, specifically the visualizer and the Upload Servlet.  We knew where to go to update those URLs accordingly.  Now we working on accessing SDM through the mobile app.  We would like to use one A record for example http://sdm/CAisd/pdmweb.exe, http://sdm/caisd-rest or http://sdm/../CMDBVisualizer to enable access to the very components of Service Desk Manager.  Our load balancer redirects the request to the appropriate server and port based on rules that have been designed.  This is also to provide better security including less exposure as we make the application available to external users.  We are pretty much there but in testing the mobile app, we noticed using wireshark that the mobile app returns hrefs that include the physical machine name that REST API is running on.  Is the place where we can configure the URL(s) that the REST API uses to define the hrefs it returns?

If you do not mind, would you be able to raise a Support case for this one please, and hit me up with the case # on the same?  

I don't think we have the needed support (in REST) for something like a CGI_URL  in regular SDM UI where the resulting data sets are masked for you by the CGI_URL.

However, I'd like to get this passed by our engineering team.
