    Hello,

we were used to monitor our infrastructure with snmp (snmptoolkit) so far. due to the fact that microsoft will deprecate snmp we are looking for a way to monitor the server hardware with wbem/wmi.

I installed the wbem agent on the server 2016 an the system management homepage tells me everything I need.

How can I get those Hardware Information form Nimsoft now? Is there anything around?

If I try to get the necessary information via snmp 2016 I can see that not all values are provided any more with the hp insight management agents... So I looks like wbem/wmi is the only way...

    Thanks for help!

Did you look at the rsp probe and using WMI to collect the metrics and alarms?

    Hi,

thanks for answer. I think Hardware Monitoring should be a key element for monitoring. So this should work out of the box for brands like HP, DELL, IBM...

So is there any kind of Template or lua Script (I think rsp probe works with this) for a HP DL Servers?

    Thanks for help!
