Jaspersoft report order of filters vs order in which reports are rendered

    This for a custom studio report.

    My filter listing projects shows projects in ascending order of Project Code.

    The report input parameter is multi-select query based.

    The result generated; multiple reports, one per project selected in the multi-select filter shows up in any random order.

     

    How do I enforce the reports to show in the order matching to the selection in the filter

     

     Nika_Hadzhikidi has been my guru in this area so mentioning her

     

    Example: 

    Filter:   Project Code = [001,002,003]

     

    Status Reports generated  in order as [002,001,003]

    I found a solution to this. On Report Dataset and Query you have a tab called "Sorting" adding fields here will sort the report outcome.
