App and bg logs are not capturing after patch upgrade (patch 9 in 14.3). But app-system and bg-system logs are capturing.
Could anyone can help us.
Can you please explain what is not captured? Also can you restart and see if that makes any impact.
Actually after the patch upgrade, the app-ca.log and bg-ca.log is not updating. But the application is up and running and scheduled jobs are also working fine.
App-system and bg-system logs are updating as usual.
While going through logger.xml it is seen that there is change in the snippet.
<category additivity="false" name="com.niku"> <priority value="warn"/> <appender-ref ref="DWH"/> </category>
Hence we changed it back to "STDOUT" and restarted the services.
You can revert back the logger.xml from C:\PPM_HOME\.setup\templates\config and I would discourage change anything directly in logger.xml unless requested by CA Support for troubleshooting purpose.

We have reverted back the logger file from .setup\templates\config and not the logger.xml directly. It was a tongue slip (last reply)
