CA Service Management

  • 1.  Unable to change between Business Units

    Hello,

     

    I have recently encountered and issue where I have been unable to change between business units.

    I'd log out, put in my credentials, write in the business unit as usual, but then I come in with this error:

     

      Error:   Invalid User Name or Password.

     

    I did check that I am indeed using the correct credentials. Additionally, other users who change between business units are also experiencing this same issue.

    Sorry for the delay. Let me know if you've already identified the issue.

     

    I suspect that there wasn't enough here for people to understand the scenario to respond to.

     

    Please expand on your query.  

    * Providing steps and/or screenshots would help with our understanding.

    * The product and version number.

    * What is a "business unit?"

    * How does your authentication chain work, or how do you anticipate it working?

    * Has this worked in the past? What has changed? 

    * Test or production? Does the other one work?

     

    The product is listed as "CA Service Desk" in the Category of this post, but CA Service Desk Manager does not have a product term called "Business Units.", You need to explain this context.

    Based on advice from a colleague re the error seen, switching the Category of this post from CA SDM to CA Catalog where it more likely belongs.
