Hi All,

Cost plan is deleted , can we get back the data in monthly format for Forecast ,Actuals and Variance by using any Out Of The Box portlets or reports.

Below is the screenshot just for reference and the deleted cost plan is not which is shown in the screenshot.

I agree that the Forecast and the Variance information is lost. But I think the Actuals should still be present in PPA_WIP and PPA_WIP_VALUES tables.

My concern now, is the $1MM cost plan what was deleted, is still showing as a planned cost on the record. How does that $1MM get removed, if there is no longer a cost plan to remove it from?

After cost plan is deleted then from where that 1MM is still appearing in the Self record?

Please go to the Financial Plans tab and click on "Show All". See if you get any cost plans when you do this.

And check on how often the time slicing job runs on this system. Has the time slicing job run since the cost plan was deleted?

At present there is no cost plan on that project.
I will check with the Slicing Job.

Does it mean the value of 1 million in the hierarchy tab is coming from Slicing tables?

Which version is this system on?

I encountered a behaviour where the Hierarchy Planned Cost didn't get updated when a Cost Plan got deleted. Could you please give this a try:

1. Create a new cost plan on this project

2. Enter the Planned Cost as "0"

3. Save

See if the Planned Cost on the Hierarchy tab gets updated.
