  • 1.  QoS unit for custom variable in logmon

    Posted Feb 07, 2017 03:33 AM

    Hi,

We have created custom QoS in logmon that are linked with custom variables.

The units of these QoS do not have an abbreviation; for eg. count_of_calls has unit as bytes and no abbreviation.

But when accessing the graphs for the QoS, the abbreviation is populating as 'B'. We tried replacing this value with a whitespace, and custom text like 'calls', but the abbreviation does not change. Tried restart of logmon post changes, but no help.

Logmon version we are using: 3.60.

This was working before the upgrade (v 7.5). Post Upgrade Version of UIM: 8.47.

    Any help?

    Thanks

    Hi!

Is this problem started after the UIM Upgrade?

When was working before, you used the probe version 3.60 or older version?

NOTE: the latest logmon probe version is 3.70

Do you tried to recreate the Custom Qos/Variables?

In the last case, I recommend you to open a CA Support ticket
