    Hi,

You can add a word document (like other files )as an attachment to your KB articles however you can't directly upload a word document as a KB articles.

You will have to transform it to be xml and respect the necessary format.

Note that recent MS Word application allow you to save your word document into xml.  You will then need to apply some transformation (using XSLT)to be compliant but can  save a lot of time.

    my 2 cents

    Hi Mohamed,

Have a look at the 'samples' folder on the Service Desk server. There are some sample Knowledge documents than can be imported. These have screen prints and documents linked to them. Perhaps you can mimic that...

    Kind Regards,

    Brian

    Hi Mohamed,

Both of the responses are correct here.  You cannot import Word Docs directly into Knowledge Tools.  You can either copy the content of the word docs into new knowledge documents and publish them, OR you can create knowledge docs and attach the word doc to them so the end users can download the word doc via the KT doc.

    Hope this helps,
