we are facing issue while installing robot . We downloaded the robot from  adminconsole i.e http://hostname:8080/uimhome/new_install.jsp

please see the error and advise.

you are using the wrong installer.

You are using the nimsoft-robot.exe which is our third party installer tool which requires an answer file to be installed.

You want to us NimBUS Robot.exe or NimBUS Infrastructure.exe to install robots manually.

HI the direct link from your server would be in the format:

Windows Robot

http://127.0.0.1/uimhome/setupFiles/NimBUS%20Robot.exehttp://hostname:8080/uiimhome/setupFiles/NimBUS%20Robot.exe

or

Windows Robot, Hub, Distribution Server

http://hostname:8080//uimhome/setupFiles/NimBUS%20Infrastructure.exe 

You can also find this in the following location on the Primary UIM server itself

<Nimsoft>\install\setup

Hello Gene ...as i mentioned in my next separate post that i cannot access my adminconsole after installing ump...

However...i just got the nimbus robot file from the specified fodler and installed in one of my machine which has now fixed my problem...I really appreciate.. Tons of thanks.

The Primary hub has a page specifically for this outside AC.

Enter the IP of your primary hub into this url and you'll see:

http://<IP_Address_PriHub>/uimhome/index.jsp

http://<IP_Address_PriHub>/uimhome/installers.jsp
