Error when installing patch 6.3.0.b9832 - install4j CreateZipFileAction failed?

    Hi,

     

    we did get the following message, when running the installer for the latest 6.3 patch.

     

     

    Anyone got this as well?

     

    After several attemps, we decided to simply click "ignore" and everything seems ok, correct build is shown in the about section of CA RA, so the patch should be installed correctly.

    Do you have only execution server on this host?

    Hi Jacky,

     

    yes, it's only the execution server and I think an agent is running there as well.

     

    management server is on a different machine.

    I think there is a fix for this issue , try contact support for getting more information

    hey florent,

     

    thanks for the info, so it is not limited to windows machines, which leads to a more or less general issue on either this patch or the way the installer / shell script is set up for a run on an exclusive execution server.

    Hi Michael,

     

    There is a fix available by the engineering team. Please open a support ticket and I can upload the new Patch.

    Its not available on Patches site as of now. But I have tested the patch and it works.
