  • 1.  Require client certificate for backend routing

    Hi,

is it possible to configure the API Gateway to present a client certificate for the backend routing connection?

I checked the different settings of the "Route via HTTP(S)" assertion, but can't find any point, where you can specify a client certificate. Is this not supported at all or is this hidden somewhere else?

    Thank you!

    Ciao Stefan

Hi Stefan, I think you’re looking for this: https://docops.ca.com/ca-api-gateway/9-2/en/security-configuration-in-policy-manager/tasks-menu-security-options/manage-private-keys/select-a-custom-private-key  under subsection To select a custom private key

    Hope that helps

    Hi Darren,

thanx for the quick and useful help. I just checked the assertion Settings (double click) before, but don't tried the context menu (right click).

    Not very intuitive
