In previous standard installtions, we were able to run multiple WSP client sessions on developers workstations. In 14.1

Advanced Availability (Windows 2012 R2), WSP will no longer run on the workstation and we are limited to a single session on the background server.  Surely the only supported development tool cannot be limited to a single user.

Is there a solution or workaround to this limitation?

    Jeffery.........

All of the AA documentation refers to WSP being accessed via the BG server.

    Hi,

my suggestion isn't a workaround but could be a better practise... I think that much better to use WSP only to publish schema changes and use 3rd party text editor like Notepad++ to modify all the forms\scripts\spel\etc.

Next step could be (local or global) git repository to keep all changes ordered and clear.

    Hi cdtj,

you read in my mind. this is exactly how I do today.

Really less time consuming, better control and full versioning of your changes.

    Jeffery............

Do you have any further questions in regards to WSP within an AA environment?

I would suggest that you open an IDEA/ENHANCEMENT regarding the use of WSP within an AA CA SDM environment.
