Hi All, 

I am looking at deploying the syslog gateway probe, read  through the release notes but its not clear where it is installed.  The release notes makes its sound as if the probe is installed on a hub, is this correct?  Also, when the probe is 

installed and operational does the device the probe is installed on maintain a log of all the syslog messages which can

be viewed eaisly?

Hello.

This probe provides you a gateway so you won't deploy the probe locally.

There is no probe specific requirement where it should run. (hub robot OR standalone robot)

Note

The probe do not have "filter" feature so you would want to look at integration with logmon probe.
