    Hi,

We have one secure page on programs. There is  object based portlet for programs  and a few fields are allowed to inline edit.   For a specific user, he has a edit right on this secure sub-page not able to edit the vales on the portlet.

When I analysed I was able to reproduce the issue on IE11 but on chrome fields are editable. the adjacent columns have large text values. If there 200 characters text in other text columns  inline editing is not working on IE11 and on chrome edit text box or lookup displayed on top of column header.

Anyone  has faced the similar issues or any supporting doc/article to support the analysis.

    Clarity version :14.3

    Thanks.

There is a known defect when vertical scrolling gets enabled, in IE..

That is, there is so much content in a single row that you have to scroll down to view it completely.. Check if that is what is happening here..

The defect ID is DE31927. Basically, when a row stretches (vertically) so much, that we need to scroll down to view a single row, from top to bottom, this defect appears. The enablement of vertical scrolling for a single row is ofcourse relative to the IE window size..
