CA TDM required the ADOBE Reader as pre-requisite while installing the CA TDM 3.5 to 4.0 ?
Seems to be ADOBE Reader is getting installed while we trying to install CA TDM 4.0
It could be that Adobe has automatic updates turned on or that another program/website link caused Adobe Reader to be installed.
TDM does not require or force install Adobe Reader as part of the installation process.
If that does not answer your question, please send a screenshot of what you are referring to.
Here are all the TDM System Requirements: System Requirements - CA Test Data Manager - 4.0 - CA Technologies Documentation
I have not seen TDM require Adobe Reader to be installed before, but it is not required as far as I know.
Can you please provide a screenshot? Did you have any other programs being installed around the same time?
Once I have the screenshot, I will ask development if this needs to be added as a pre-req to the documentation or if it can be removed from the TDM installer.
Actually it is installation while we are trying to install the TDM installer
If this is still an issue for you and we have not answered your question, I would suggest opening a support case either by going to https://support.ca.com/irj/portal/anonymous/newhome or calling CA Support at one of these numbers: Contact CA Support - CA Technologies.
