  • 1.  How to warn about Certificate related routing error?

    Posted Feb 26, 2017 11:22 AM

    Hi,

Sometimes backend services certificates changes before expiry date. And on the gateway we get routing error like

Problem routing to https://xxxx.xxxx.com/***. Error msg: Unable to obtain HTTP response from https://https://xxxx.xxxx.com/***. Certificate not verified. Caused by: Certificate [cn=*.xxxx,ou=yyyyyyyyyyyy,ou=zzzzzzzzzzzzzz] path validation and/or revocation checking failed

But this errors Audit Code is not different other routing related error. Gateway gives Code 3016 And 4042.

My question is possible to give Another Code for certificate related errors. So we can search it.

Or can you give me another idea to find certificate errors easily?

    Good morning,

The 2 codes that you outlined are the only ones created for the HTTP Routing assertion for all reasons. If you would like another code such as a subcode, please log an idea in our community. As for searching, how are you storing and reviewing the logs/audits? Being that the error is consistent in part of the text it should be searchable through the logs.

    Sincerely,
