    Hi There

I have created a new user Role called SVGuest who is given read only access for VSI,VSM,config etc, but on login as SVGuest I found the user can still edit & make changes to the document. Is this know issue and where to report such problems.

Ajay,    please open a ticket with CA support.  We will look into this issue in a webex.

    Thanks

    Hello Ajay,

Even though you get the popup to save the model file. When you try clicking save, the below message will appear.

It wont let you save, since the user role doesn't have the required privilege. Please let us know if this helps. Also, please confirm which version of DevTest you are using.

    Thanks,

    Surya.

    Hey Surya -

Yes that helps I could see the message popping up when I try to save, VSM  & .config file., but looks like .VSI file we can make the changes and even its getting saved, that seems not right.

Thanks for the feed back I will raise a case to check it out
