    Introduction:

    This document will explain how to see what version of each component in Test Data Manager you have. Some components have the versions listed in the GUI, but others you will need to see through the 'Component'.exe properties window.

    Question:

    What version of the product do I have?

    Answer:

    Note: All file paths are based on the default installation paths. 

     

    Datamaker:

    You can see the product version from within Datamaker in the GUI. It will be listed in the top, right-hand corner of the screen.

    You can also see the product version in the gtdatamaker.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker
    2. Right click on gtdatamaker.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Fast Data Masker:

    You can see the product version from within FDM in the GUI. It will be listed in the top, left-hand corner of the screen.

    You can also see the product version in the GTMAPPER.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files\Grid-Tools\FastDataMasker
    2. Right click on GTMAPPER.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Subset:

    You can see the product version in the GTSubset.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker
    2. Right click on GTSubset.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    TDoD:

    You can see the product version in the TDoDConfigEditor.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\TDoD\TDoD_Service
    2. Right click on GTWCFHOST.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Javelin:

    You can see the product version from within Javelin in the GUI. It will be listed in the top, right-hand corner of the screen.

    You can also see the product version in the Javelin.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker
    2. Right click on Javelin.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    TDM Portal:

    You can see the product version from within the TDM Portal in the GUI. It will be listed in the bottom, left-hand corner of the screen.

    GT Diagrammer:

    You can see the product version from within Diagrammer in the GUI. It will be listed in a window under 'Help' -> 'About'.

    You can also see the product version in the GTDiagrammer.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker\GTDiagrammer
    2. Right click on GTDiagrammer.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Data Profiler:

    You can see the product version in the GTDataProfiler.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker
    2. Right click on GTDataProfiler.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Data Visualizer:

    You can see the product version from within Visualizer in the GUI. It will be listed in a window under 'Help' -> 'About'.

    You can also see the product version in the TestDataVisualizer.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files\Grid-Tools\TestDataVisualizer
    2. Right click on TestDataVisualizer.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Test Match:

    You can see the product version in the TestMatch.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker\TestMatch
    2. Right click on TTestMatch.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    GT EDI:

    You can see the product version from within GT EDI in the GUI. It will be listed in the top, left-hand corner of the screen.

    You can also see the product version in the GTEDI.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\GTEDI
    2. Right click on GTEDI.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    GT HP ALM Service:

    You can see the product version in the ALMServiceConfigEditor.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\GTHPALMService\GTHPALMService_ConfigEditor
    2. Right click on ALMServiceConfigEditor.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Remote Publish:

    You can see the product version in the RemotePublishConfiguration.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\RemotePublish
    2. Right click on DMBatch.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Group Job Processor:

    You can see the product version in the gtgroupjobexecutor.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\GTGroupJobProcessor
    2. Right click on gtgroupjobexecutor.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    ALM Batch:

    You can see the product version in the gtalmbatch.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\ALMBatch
    2. Right click on gtalmbatch.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Rally Batch:

    You can see the product version in the gtrallybatch.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\GTRallyBatch
    2. Right click on gtrallybatch.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.

    Portus Job Processor:

    You can see the product version in the GTPortus_JobProcessor.exe Properties window:

    1. Go to C:\Grid-Tools\GTPortusJobProcessor
    2. Right click on GTPortus_JobProcessor.exe. 
    3. Choose 'Properties' from the list. 
    4. Click on the 'Details' tab. 
    5. Under 'File Version' and 'Product Version' the number will be listed.
