  • 1.  How can I force Spectrum to use a newly edited AlertMap file?

    Hi,

I made a change to the AlertMap file on the SS using a text editor. Can I force Spectrum to use it or must I restart the SS?

    This is 10.2 on Linux.

    Regards,

    Rick

Find the VNM model, click on the Information tab, expand the SpectroSERVER Control subview and click on the Update Event Configuration button.

If you are a fan of CLI, you can also run the following CLI steps on a bash login shell (login as Spectrum install owner user)

    cd $SPECROOT/vnmsh

    ./connect

    ./update action=0x100a2 mh=<VNM modelhandle>
