Just sharing a recent finding on Symantec Endpoint Protection (anti-virus software) and some "random" drops that have impacted other CA software. These have not been reported as impacting CA Service Desk Manager/ITSM/CMDB at this point, but as this is a general environment issue, I thought it worth sharing.
In short, Symantec was found to be blocking small packets, but allowing large packets through.
This gave the appearance of an intermittent network problem.
