    NetApp OnTap 9.0 issues:

We are currently having issues with a few NetApp probes for our customers - they have been upgraded to OnTap 9.0 but since then we are getitng alerts saying that the AGGR's are 100% used when they are NOT.

Also - Unable to Expand the Volumes section with the probe to change thresholds on individual Volumes.

The Question has been raised with CA but they only support up to version 8.3 with a new NetApp probe that has been released.

Has anyone else come across this / know a workaround etc....????

    many thanks in advance

    Hello.

Please let me know which probes (netapp probe, or netapp_ontap probe) you're talking about.

There are 2 different probes for netapp monitoring.

    Regards,

    Yu

    Hello, Anderson.

Thank you very much for response.

I'm afraid to tell you that "netapp" probe does not support Ontap 9.

"netapp_ontap" probe supports Ontap 9 instead.

    Regards,

    Yu

I will replace the existing probe with the one you have mentioned , see if that fixes the issue

Hi Joe, did the netapp_ontap probe provide better performance?

    Good Afternoon

Yes – thank you… we are currently running the “netapp” & “netapp_ontap” probes side by side until we are happy with the alerts

We will be looking to roll this out over the next few weeks

    Many thanks

Does netapp_ontab  has default dashboard in UMP ?

As per the readme the unified_dashboards package was updated with a netapp_ontap dashboard in rev 2.99 and then enhanced in 3.10.
