Hi, i am trying to install UMP with my Primary Hub already installed & manual installation of robot on my UMP Server. the error says :- " the selected robot does not seem to be responsive, ensure robot is active". i can see the robot is good under infrastructure manager console.

    I'd start checking in order:

    - Is the OS where you are deploying ump supported?

    - Is there any Antivirus running?

    - Can you double click on the controller of that ump robot and access the GUI?

    - Is firwewall/iptables/SELinux allowing bidirectional communication between hub and robot?

Rules to be enabled on all systems running a robot:

    1. Allow INBOUND TCP 48000 to 48099

Additionally on all robots that are also running hubs allow:

    2. Allow OUTBOUND TCP 48000 to 48003
    3. Allow OUTBOUND UDP 48000 to 48003
    4. Allow INBOUND UDP 48000 to 48003

we are using Windows Servers & the firewall is in OFF State

I am getting error on admin console :-

Failed to retrieve list of callbacks for probe /HUB/PRIMARYHUB_hub/ump/controller

Check to make sure the probe is active and available then reload the page to try again

If you cannot access the GUI of the controller it means that some kind of communication issue exists. Can you telnet the hub (48002) from the robot and the robot (48000) from the hub? Have you tried reinstalling the robot? What windows versions?

i was able to solve the issue by restarting the robot. seems there was firewall blocking the traffic
