IT Process Automation

  • 1.  Unable to open schedules

    Posted Mar 17, 2017 03:13 AM

    Hi Guys,

We are unable to open schedules that are stored in ca process automation library, when we try open them we get an error http 404 (The webpage cannot be found).

Here is the url(http://localhost:8080/itpam/GraphExclude.jsp?uuid=&tearOff=true&OID=370&page=Agenda&serverId=b8965007-dd94-4e88-a345-7fc5c45009ee) that ITPAM opens up when we try access one of the schedules.

We recently upgraded from CA Process automation 4.3 to 4.3.1, I’m not sure if this was caused by the upgrade.

    Thanks in advance

I have the same experience after upgrade to PAM 4.3.1 and Java 1.8. After I did downgrade Java to 1.7.0_79 the problem was gone.

What version of the JDK did you apply?

We have definite known issues with some versions of Java 8.    Specifically versions 1.8.0_91 and later.

They tend to prevent the application from starting at all, but we have seen other oddities that disappeared by downgrading the JDK version.

Please see the following Knowledge Document TEC1563662

If you continue to have the problem using an earlier version of Java 8 prior to _91 please engage the support team for further investigation.

    Hi,

Our java version (java version "1.8.0_121"), our risk team will only allow us to downgrade to Java 8.112.

    Thanks
