Hi,

I was looking through the documentation and was not able to find any information about the configuring of the SMTP server to send registration emails. The only link I found was Change the SMTP Server - CA API Developer Portal - 3.5 - CA Technologies Documentation  which was on the changing the SMTP server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you running into problems where the registration emails are not being sent? The documented steps do configure API Portal to send out the registration emails.

API Portal uses anonymous SMTP servers. 
You can set the value of this to the literal "localhost" <Property name="SMTPSever" value="localhost" />, and then test sending the registration emails. The registration emails will originate from the API Portal host.
