  • 1.  Siteminder aas in R12.52 compared to Arcot Adapter 2.2.9

I had worked with Siteminder R12.51 and CA Riskminder and Authminder. I had upgraded to Sitemidner R12.52 SP01  CR04 recently and I found that it was now install a RiskMinder component under /opt/CA/aas (default directory).. Is this component similar to the Arcot Adapter installed for Siteminder ? I compared both and I found that AAS had more components that the Arcot Adapter and also it does not have the libArcotSiteMinderAdapter.so . If it is indeed a replacement of the Arcot Adapter may I ask for documentation on how to use it instead.

    Hi,

Policy server 12.52 has used the Risk functionality for the session assurance and it is not a replacement of the adapter. For any Siteminder, vpn or saml integration you have to have use the Adapter which comes packaged under CA Strong auth.

Let me know for any questions.
