    Hi all,

I need a clarification of archive and purge in CASDM 14.1 AA. If i run the archive only (test run) rule against problem, files are being written at default location, but still am able to view problem tickets in Inactive status in web page.

so, what is the difference between Archive and purge, archive only, purge only. Which option should i choose to remove the data from web page display, as well as archive files to be written at destination folder, so that i can restore PDM utility.

With Archive Only (Test Run), SDM writes historic records to the archive file without purging them from the database. Use this option to test a newly created or edited archive and purge rule.
