Clarity

Hi All.

I'm testing PPM 15.2 and I have the following problem:

1. I create a project in PPM and assign some named resources to the team.

2. A open the project on MSP, add a task and assign a resource at a % less than 100% (say, 50%)

3. I save the project to PPM and run the Allocate from Estimation action. The Allocation % is correctly set to 50% ETC in the task is correct (say 4 hours in 1 day)

4. I reopen the project in MSP and it changes the resource allocation % to 0%

I checked with either default allocation % for the team member at 0% and 100%, same behaviour.

I I save back the project, the ETC and allocation % in PPM are not changed

Anyone got the same problem?

Hi Fabio,

One reason this can happen is if "MSP Assignment Units Mapping with PPM Assignment 'Max % Load' is checked in PPM in Administration->Project Management->Settings. See KB: https://www.ca.com/us/services-support/ca-support/ca-support-online/knowledge-base-articles.TEC1582765.html 

If that isn't the cause, is this on the MSP New Driver or Legacy Driver?
