  • 1.  Application's API Key not working for OAuth Authentication

    Hi,

     

    I'm trying to use a newly created application's (developer's portal ) API Key and secret to authenticate with the OAuth 2.0 token endpoint but am not able to do so.

     

    Are there any other necessary configurations prior to creating an application to allow the use of the API key and secret to retrieve a token via the oauth/v2/token endpoint?

    Hi sharkkae ,

    Did you integrate the oauth with portal?

    Or manually register the application as oauth client  on oauth manager?

    I believe you need either one of above to make the oauth work with the new application.

     

    For 1st option, you may refer to Manage OAuth Clients with CA API Portal - CA API Management OAuth Toolkit - 3.5 - CA Technologies Documentation 

    For 2nd option, you may refer to Registering Clients with the OAuth Manager - CA API Management OAuth Toolkit - 3.5 - CA Technologies Documentation
