Hi there, is there any chance to have a small knowledge base in ca ppm with the incident, and some kind of news portlet, like a birthday notification for the team members?

For starters there is Knowledge store on the Home Menu. The usage is up to your imagination.

The main usage is document storage.

There is also the possibility to store documents with some of the objects like projects.

You can also build custom objects with custom attachments.

News portlet would be any portlet (grid, html etc) you put on the Overview page and has news.

You could try birthday notifications through organizer/action item notifications.
