When siteminder agent redirect to a login page, inside the login URL there is a parameter named GUID without any value. Just want to know what is it used for? what can we do with this parameter.

    e.g

    /sso/login.jsp?TYPE=33554433&REALMOID=06-8089aa6d-deab-43ef-8a97-b015fae479b3&GUID=&SMAUTHREASON=0&METHOD=GET&SMAGENTNAME=-SM-Dt%2fKi1848jowDYiR9%2fW25FYIhgghD5wX9nSctQykxrBs0LvHVjBZPs3hvGqV0uJS&TARGET=-SM-http%3a%2f%2ftest%2eforward%2einc%2ftest

Recently i found that when key in a wrong password in the login page, then the value of GUID inside the login URL become like GUID=0. Is it true that if authentication not successful, the value become 0.

    /sso/login.jsp?TYPE=33554433&REALMOID=06-8089aa6d-deab-43ef-8a97-b015fae479b3&GUID=0&SMAUTHREASON=0&METHOD=GET&SMAGENTNAME=-SM-Dt%2fKi1848jowDYiR9%2fW25FYIhgghD5wX9nSctQykxrBs0LvHVjBZPs3hvGqV0uJS&TARGET=-SM-http%3a%2f%2ftest%2eforward%2einc%2ftest

    Hi Jin Long,

If the user DN contains a GUID, it is placed in the GUID query parameter. It is retrieved from the user context of the request context.
