  • 1.  TDM Portal throws "server is not reachable" error

    TDM Portal 4.0 throws a "Server is not reachable" error when deriving tables. I have a new project with a non-relationship source created from rr-pair (json files). When trying to derive tables, I get this error.

     

    The Server is not reachable. Could not perform the action. Click here to go to home.

     

    The selected connection profile is valid, so not sure what could be causing this issue. Any  ideas?

    Hi Latha, 

     

    Usually this error occurs if your CA Test Data Manager Portal service is not running. 

     

    Here is how to start the service:

    1. Go to 'services.msc'.

    2. Right click on the 'CA Test Data Manager Portal' service.

    3. Click 'Start' or 'Restart'.

    4. Re-launch the TDM Portal.

    5. Re-test your scenario.

     

    If you are still experiencing the issue, please open a support case so that we can further troubleshoot.

    Hi Taylor - Appreciate the quick response. However, a restart of the Portal service did not seem to help. I will reach out to support.
